Jon Poulter graduated from Pennsylvania State University in 2012 with a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering and a minor in physics. He also completed a Master’s degree in Creative Technology and Design with a focus on Robotics at the University of Colorado - Boulder in 2021.
Since graduating, Jon has worked on rocket motor control systems that put a satellite in orbit around the moon, installed automated guided vehicles in hospitals and factories, programmed PLCs to automate industrial systems, and designed electro-mechanical systems for space applications.
Through all of his experiences, Jon has been drawn towards advanced technologies with the potential to help people. He is particularly interested in robotics and hopes to apply it to improve medical care and rehabilitation tools.
Jon has enjoyed living in various locations throughout the country, including Memphis, TN, Denver, CO, and now Wilmington, DE. He lives with his wife Carrie, who he married in 2019, and their English Bulldog Maggie.
